My latest do-it-yourself wall art piece for a dog theme room. Simply cut a large dog silhouette out of a piece of poster board from the DollarTree. Frame and you are done. I also hot-glued decorative ribbon on the ready-made lamp shade in the photo. Easy project - big impact!

Now On youtube!
A couple of weeks ago Jesse Larvick (http://larvickmedia.com) came over to the studio for my first ever video session! It was fun and you can see the results on youtube in the form of 8 different design tips. Hood River reDesign Tips I highly recommend using Jesse to create videos for your business as youtube is second only to google for web search.

With great anticipation Hood River reDesign's Studio is now open for client meetings! My new space is light filled and boasts roomy seating and a large monitor for ease of use. Humor Me
I am researching how to create email signatures with graphics and it turns out one must post said graphic to the web (the easiest way via a blog or facebook I suppose) and copy and paste it into your email signature. How funny that you can not simply import it...ah the joys of technology...here goes my little test...I'll keep you posted. Ah - It works! Happy Day -
Lorena - simply right click and copy your logo. Then open up your email program. Select email signature. Paste your logo there and ta-da you are set!

Your Fundraising Solution
Hood River has more fundraisers then you can shake a stick at! Unfortunately some of these events are, well, kind of lame - no offense to the cause! And/or they require loads of time from the planners and reap little rewards. I say out with the old ideas of Fundraising and in with the new!
People want Experiences - at the event itself (so it better be cool) and they want to buy EXPERIENCES (ie private cooking class and dinner by a professional chef).

Hood River reDesign offers consulting on Fundraisers and all things print design you could need - from Save-The-Dates, to Poster Design to Tickets.

Shop Your House
No cash. No problem. Most of us have waaaaaay more then we need anyway. We just happen to have it in the wrong place.
1. Move your Furniture - try a new layout to create a warmer, closer conversation area. Consider moving furniture from another room to use it in an unconventional way. For example using a dresser for a TV stand.
2. Move your Art - make groupings of your art work to create a strong focal point. No art you say? Hang a group of plates, wrap an ugly painting with fabric scrap and staple to the back of the canvas.
3. Search the garage and attic. They are full of remnants - left over house paint waiting to become a modern art instillation, part of fence that could be made into a headboard, an old desk that could be painted and become your new entree table.
Save the Date: Hood River reDesign is giving two classes at the Women's Expo April 2nd at the Hood River Alliance Youth Center - Shop Your House, and Shop Your Closet!
